Order Cancellation Policy - Movemastershopping

ORDER CANCELLATION POLICY

At Movemastershopping, we aim to provide reliable, fast, transparent and seamless delivery services to all our esteemed customers. We are not ignorant of the fact that most times, there might be a need to cancel Orders already placed by our customers. Hence, this policy provides the guidelines for Order cancellation.

Eligibility for Order Cancellation:

You can only be eligible to cancel an Order if the vendor has not accepted or started preparing and/or processing your Order. Once a vendor has confirmed your order and begun the fulfillment process, it cannot be canceled. If you no longer want the product, you must wait until it is delivered to you, and then you will be required to follow our Returns and Refund Policy. Please, refer to our Returns and Refund Policy for further explanation.

For scheduled or pre – booked deliveries, cancellation of such orders must be made at least three (3) hours before the scheduled pickup time.

How to cancel an Order:

The following are the various means in which you can cancel an Order:

Cancellation Charges:

Free cancellation:

Where the Order cancellation was done before the confirmation and processing of your Order by the Vendor, you will not be charged for such cancellation.

Partial Charges:

Where the Order has been confirmed and assigned to a Rider but yet to be picked up, you will be required to pay the sum of Five Hundred Naira (N500.00) as the service fee.

Full Charges:

Where the Order has already been picked up or is in transit, the full delivery fee will be charged.

Company initiated cancellation of Order:

We reserve the right to cancel Orders as a result of any of the following reasons:

  • Non – compliance with our terms and conditions
  • Unavailability of the delivery agents
  • Incomplete or incorrect delivery details.
  • Force Majeure events such as strikes, accidents, etc.

Where any of the aforementioned events occurred, you will receive a full refund or we may reschedule the delivery at no extra cost (as the case may be).

Refunds:

Where you are eligible for refunds, such refunds will be processed within Seven (7) working days to the original method of payment.

Refund timelines may vary depending on the customer’s bank/payment provider.

Exceptions:

Orders containing perishable products (e.g. food, groceries, etc) may not be eligible for cancellation after preparation or pickup.

Partner/Vendor – specific rules may apply and will be communicated during the Order process.
